Vic Carroll
Vic’s musical roots came from Christian music, he started playing drums at age 8, and by age 15 was playing on albums as well as traveling with some of the most successful bands in southern gospel music. “From a very early age”, says Vic, “I knew that I wanted to make a living playing music”. Over the next several years, Vic began singing, writing songs, and playing guitar and bass , as well as keyboards. In December 1994, a song that Vic had written and recorded called “The blame”, was #1 on the country music charts in the country of Holland.
In 1995 Vic became a principal singer in a “Las Vegas style” show in Pigeon Forge, Tn. After months of performing in Pigeon Forge, the show actually moved to Las Vegas for a two week trial engagement. Two weeks turned in to six months, then six months turned in to two years. “I came to Las Vegas in April of 1995 for a two week gig, and I’ve been here ever since”, says Vic.
In 1999, Vic took on his greatest challenge of becoming leader of his own band. Vic says, “surrounding myself with great talent was my philosophy from the very beginning, and that’s just what I’ve done” . Now 11 years later, Senergy is one of the most successful bands in the history of Las Vegas.
Vic is married to former Las Vegas performer Melanie Lopez Carroll, and are now passing on their musical attributes to their children.
Vic is a member of Calvary Chapel Green Valley, where he and his wife attend and serve on the worship team.
Vic’s interests, other than music, include bodybuilding/fitness, softball, MMA, Bible studies
Ricky Roehr
Ricky was born in San Antonio, Texas and grew up in the famous blues town of Kansas City, Mo. He started singing before he could talk and was adding harmonies to his mom's singing by age 6. He didn't realize he wanted to play an instrument until he was 14, so in that aspect he was kind of a late bloomer. Making up for lost time, he started learning all the guitar licks he could and practicing 4 hours a day after school. He started with licks from people like Neil Young, Jethro Tull, Cocker, Beatles (still his favorite) and some of the old records his mom had - and she had a lot. Moving into genres like Jimi Hendrix and RobinTrower, he then fell in love at 17 with the Art Rock groups like Genesis, Yes, ELP etc. which meant even more discipline. It was then he decided to study classical guitar at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. It was now the 80s and he put a New Wave band together at a very young age with some like-minded musicians and took the band to Los Angeles and met with some moderate success.
Deciding he wanted to play live more than in studios, Ricky moved to Las Vegas and started working in several groups as well as production shows on the Strip. Within a couple of years, he missed the studio creativity and started recording more while still playing at night. After a few dozen original songs, he found himself being hired to put together vocal arrangements for groups he worked with as well as several who had heard he had a talent for arrangement. (it seemed the singing as an infant paid off)
Ricky says constantly that the guys in Senergy are his favorite he's ever worked with and that this particular group of people is indeed greater than the sum of its parts. He still records almost every day - whether it's Rock, Electonica, A cappella or Dance music. He loves it all and loves the freedom of composing in the studio, honing his engineering skills - while also enjoying the discipline necessary to do justice to the precise and demanding guitar and vocal parts for Senergy's deeply varied song list.
Mike Riojas
Bass Guitar and Vocals
Hailing from Los Angeles, California where he received his education at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, Cal State L.A. and the Dick Grove School of Music, this lover of classic rock brings his explosive yet smooth style to Las Vegas where he has been performing since 1995.
Prior to his arrival in Las Vegas, Mike toured the U.S., Canada and Europe with well known artists such as Mr. Frankie Avalon, Dick Clark Productions, Jan and Dean, Billboard Top Ten blues artist Corey Stevens and Mr. Tim Bogert of Vanilla Fudge.
As well, Mike has enjoyed being a principle vocalist and bassist in Las Vegas production shows such as Country Tonite and The Boogie Knights.
Mike also loves to stretch out in the studio and was the featured vocalist on several songs in the 1999 motion picture “Friends and Lovers” starring Robert Downey Jr. and Stephen Baldwin.
Michael Angelo
Michael Angelo was born just outside Philadelphia in Stratford, NJ. He grew up in Washington Township, NJ. All he ever wanted to do was play drums. Everything that he did in and out of school was music. Some of his earlier influences were: Rush, YES, Motown, Genesis, and Phil Collins. It was not until years later that Hip-Hop and R&B became his genre of choice. One of the best things about him is in his opinion, “playing ‘in the pocket’. You can play as many notes as you like but the pocket is where it’s at! Just ask Ricky Lawson!” He believes that chops and technique are equally important and anyone that can utilize both of these tools musically would prove to be proficient in their craft!
So in 1990, he set out to play with everyone that he could. Along the way he found himself in many inspirational situations as well as some not so inspiring. They were all learning experiences. In his travels, Michael Angelo has had the pleasure to work with a many diverse international performers including: Anita Sarawak in Malaysia, RCA recording artist Kristine W, Sparxx, Lorenzo Antonio, and Sunny Turner just to name a few. The past few years have been spent close to home working with Senergy in the evening and cutting drum tracks in his studio during the day.
To say that Michael Angelo is passionate about drums and music is an understatement but that is only one facet in his life. His strong Christian beliefs, his love of God and his dedication to his two beautiful children and lovely wife of 14 years keep this drummer grounded in his crazy musical business.

Stefan Prescott
Stefan Prescott was born October 9th, 1973 in Gulfport, MS. He was born into a musical family and started performing late in life at the ripe old age of 8! Stefan always was (and still is) prone to being undecisive. As a result he never could decide what instrument he wanted to play. So, he decided to play all of them to make it easier. In 2003 after many years of singing, playing, writing and recording Stefan was offered a job performing at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, NV. So he packed up his accordion and his rubber chicken and spent the next 4 years in the mildly temperate climate of Las Vegas. Boy what a great time he had, that is of course until the universe conspired against him and he was forced to move back to MS and leave his rubber chicken behind.
Thankfully friends, our story does not end there. After a reduced sentence for good behavior and the legal expertise of a certain rodent companion (Ratsanne), Stefan was allowed the opportunity to leave Katrinaville, USA and return to his oasis in the desert. He is presently very very happy to be working at the best gig, and in the best band in Las Vegas... Senergy! Its super fun and Rat approved to help Stefan reach all of his musical goals.
